Happiness = Boring Blog…

1 Jun

And i don’t have anything kinky to report.

i had a lovely evening with my family and some friends and my Sir, celebrating my nephew’s graduation.  Sir fits with my family so smoothly, it’s so pleasant.   They enjoy Him, and He likes them, and that just makes life easy.

And then He spent the night.  On a work-night, for Him.

How cool is that?

This morning, i fix His coffee, fresh ground, just the way He likes it ~ add two Equals, a healthy dollop of non-fat creamer.  We get on our laptops, looking at Facebook or whatever, just as we would have been if we were home alone, but we chat with each other about what we see.

i give Him yogurt for breakfast, the kind He likes.

When it’s time, we hug, and kiss, and hug a little bit more.  We say, “take care, hope you have a good one, i’ll see you Saturday, yes, Saturday, mmmmm,” and i say, “Be careful out there,” cause that’s what i always say, yes it’s from Hill Street Blues.

And then He goes, and i’m still all warm and fuzzy content.  Ready to start the rest of my day.

Isn’t that a lovely way to start your day? (and end the previous one?) Lucky woman!! It’s so domestic and lovely…and you sound blissfully happy. I love that for you!!

    Hugs..

      Dear ‘Nilla,

Yes, it was lovely, very domestic and really, really lovely. And i’m pretty darn happy.

      🙂

i’m just full of smiles for you. Lovely morning. And…funny enough…i always say, “be careful” (though there is no movie or tv show reference in mine).

      Thanks, Jade!

It was a lovely morning ~ thanks for sharing the joy.

And that’s just one more thing we have in common. The TV reference – it was a cop show, and the big burly cop who gave assignments in the morning meeting would always end the meeting by telling the (mostly big, burly) cops to “Be careful out there.” It was sweet.

      hugs,

      aisha

A friend of mine recently told me I should stop saying I was boring, because people wouldn’t want to read my blog.

    Good advice.

    This is NOT boring. 🙂

      Thanks, Conina

That bit of domestiity is always so nice. Even when we aren’t playing, it’s fun to make Wolf his tea or bring him a surprise. Equally nice is that hug from behind when I least expect it that sends shivers all the way down…

      Thanks, Wordwytch,

It IS nice, those ordinary kind of mornings together. And yes. The hug from behind is particularly thrilling!

      Thanks!

      Dear Sfp,

      No doubt!!

i could always only write good poetry when i was fairly miserable. But not being miserable has its own charm.
