i’m writing this when really i should be going to bed, and i’m going to do that in just a minute. Â But i need to figure out how we can have some discussion about what we want at this Kinky Bloggers convention. Â This is my starting place.

Here’s a poll so we can begin to get some idea of how many people might be interested in coming to the event.
The Bluegrass Leather Pride event is definitely happening that weekend, so we won’t need to create an entire event for Kinky Bloggers, thanks to Ms. Constance, who’s offered to add a track for us. Â The more people who come, the more we can offer, so it really is important to start finding out if anyone is really interested.

Us, that’s my person biggest draw, just to be able to meet all of you and have good face to face coffee klatch type conversation.
Although… many of us are of a certain age. Do you know any experts or does Ms. Constance know any , on aging and sexuality, particularly womens aging and sexuality?

Thanks for sharing this here!! i like that idea a lot, and will ask Ms. Constance if she has some information on this. If not, and even if she does, i can do a bit of research on it too.
i’m with you, i think just sitting around talking will be the best part. But i want to build in some activities so the shy ones among us won’t be afraid to come.

I also know this isn’t for everyone, but I would love to learn how to tie some of those beautiful bondage ties, maybe a little shibari class for for beginners? Like finger crochet for the kinky crafter? I used to make hanging macrame holders for candles, and once covered a wine bottle in macrame, I imagine covering a body is similar. 🙂 Maybe a class aimed at the crafty girl of a certain age?
I think that’s a great idea, Monkey, and i’m sure we can do something for you. Whether or not it’s a full blown class or private tutoring by someone may depend on how many participants we get, but rope is a really common interest. If you come, I’ll do everything in my power to make sure rope’s built into the plan. Now let me go talk to Ms. Constance…

What if a person is kinky, but doesn’t exactly have a (kinky)blog yet, but loves to read everyone else’s blogs and comments and stuff…could a person like that attend such a convention?
